Razzle B Photography is the work of Victoria, BC based photographer Rachel Knoop.



I am a kid at heart that loves to turn everyday into a great adventure. My previous work allowed me to travel all over the world and I can't wait to buy my next plane ticket. For now, I'm enjoying the challenge to be the best possible tourist in my own hometown. Victoria has so many hidden treasures to explore. My day job provides me with fun and laughter and I love that it gives me the flexibility to include photography in my life on a regular basis.

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I love the ability a photo has to bring back memories and emotions from events and the people we shared them with. A simple click of the shutter button somehow has the ability to trap a moment in time for us to enjoy again whenever we like.

My favorite people shots capture the personality and spirit of the subject. So many posed shots look pretty but don't represent the person displayed in the photo. I make it my personal challenge to create an image that paints a realistic portrait of you and your family. Capturing candid moments and working to make you comfortable and relaxed helps to create a shot that brings to mind all the wonderful aspects of your personality for the people who see it. Everyone poses, sucks in and tries to find the most flattering angle while they wait for the camera to click but the best and most flattering pictures happen when you start to forget the camera is there.

In an effort to keep you relaxed and comfortable, I prefer to shoot outdoors or in your natural environment. Giving kids playgrounds and tidepools to play in keeps them happy and entertained while providing lots of candid moments to capture them at their best. Beaches and parks also give grown ups something else to look at if the camera makes them a little nervous.

No two photo shoots are the same. I will work with you to create the collection of pictures that meets your needs; whether you're filling a wall, creating the family holiday card or preserving a special moment in time.
